MEMO Carts Introduction

The Lifespan Mobile Equipment Module (MEMO) cart is a mobile equipment management system for use in patient care areas. Generous, easy-to-clean drawers and a rimmed work surface help organize and stage anything from therapeutic devices and disposables to patient meals. The work surface and drawer module is part of the reputed Herman Miller CoStruc™ materials handling system and will integrate seamlessly with compatible structures used throughout many care facilities.

The Lifespan MEMO cart represents a new application of the proven Lifespan rail system using standard rails that position equipment above the work surface. Post-mounted Lifespan rails accommodate any of our storage and organizer accessories that allow caregivers to convert a mere bedside cart into a mini “column on wheels” to be used anywhere in a health care facility. The care staff has a lot of freedom to set up a bedside cart, based on personal preference, unit protocol or institutional norms. The bedside cart is built on a heavy steel base that supports the two equipment management posts and the cantilevered drawer module.
